Rulers of vampirekind Sam Parker and Jared Michaels are enjoying the current peace that’s fallen among their species … until it abruptly shatters. A vampire unlawfully attempting to Turn unwilling humans is somehow inadvertently killing them. It makes no sense, just like the strange brand on his palm and the fact that he boasts multiple vampiric gifts. He also has the same mercury glint to his irises that Sam herself possesses … indicating that she’s no longer the only vampire hybrid in the world. It quickly becomes clear that eliminating him won’t be easy, especially since he’s under the protection of an ancient being more powerful than Sam and Jared combined.
