The Driftwood Vikingar

Astrid is a free-spirited Norwegian who is on holiday with her boyfriend. She has been drawn to the Aquitaine coast by the content of an ancient family manuscript. She is translating it from Latin to reveal the history of her famous Viking ancestor Oskar, and his younger brother Leif. Astrid learns her family’s Viking saga is not an honest account. A storm unearths a Viking ship and releases Leif’s tortured soul. He is bound to his family’s raven spirit and is determined to wreak vengeance on his brother’s ancestors. Leif and his crew of driftwood Vikingar leave terror and death in their wake. Deadly consequences result from Oskar’s ancient treachery. Astrid is challenged to think about her bloodline and her responsibility to it. Ultimately, the reader joins her in deciding the fate of the brothers.
